I just beat Mass Effect and HOLY CRAP that game plays like a freaking epic movie!

I just got rug burn on my elbow from my bf's sock. Don't ask.

All my work stuff is moved in to my new office. Most of it isn't put away, but it's at least in the right space now, so on Monday I can work on organizing instead of trekking through the hallways. :D

My mom's friend left a message on our home phone. The message was in Italian and Vonage sent me an email, transcribing what it thought he was saying. The message he left was:

Pronto, un abbraccio. Ciao.


What Vonage thought it said:

Hello world, I'm trying to install

Arrived at work this morning at the same time as one of m'colleagues and asked him how his weekend was.

He said it was "very good."

He paused for a while and then decided to revise it.

"Mother in law had a heart attack, but apart from that it was good."

Heart attacks shouldn't really make me smile but it was all in the delivery.

First day of my new job!

Every morning, my living room is flooded with light. It makes me happy, and does the same for my plants. Here's how my croton showed its appreciation this morning.

But the giggle came from the school of little fish shapes they had following, 5 or 6 of them. A little fishy family!

.. noticing a book on my book shelves called "Overcoming Procrastination" by Albert Ellis and William Knaus, and realising I have never actually managed to get round to reading it! - and I only noticed it cause I'm putting off getting some work done :) heehee! :D

Garmin Tech Support fixed my Forerunner 305 over the phone and I didn't have to send it in and pay $79 to get it fixed! Yea Garmin Tech Support! Yea Brandon from Garmin Tech Support!!!

Watching a program about the first American Thanksgiving on the History channel. It was discussing the variety of things that are very much a part of the holiday today that were not part of the original celebration.

Turkey. Cranberry. Pie.

Forks.

Forks? A silver shortage? No, apparently forks were snubbed for religious reasons.

God hates forks.

It's the third prong that's problematic, you know. It dangles between the others.

Does that explain the creation of four tined forks?

Or are those even kinkier? O.o

You know.

And chopsticks are obviously phallic...But what of the spoons? Nesting together like that...I'm not sure it's an approved position!
