Anti-Gay Ad Auditions Uncovered
The National Organization for Marriage has a series of ads set to run on CNN, the Fox News Channel, and MSNBC in the coming days. In the ad, actors make disproven claims about marriage for lesbian and gay couples. picked by suebe 8 months ago

NOM is posting these false ads.

So I plan on creating a new organization to help fight them.

It will be called "Oppose the Morons in National Organization for Marriage", or OM-NOM.

Personally, I think marriage is a faith based union. Churches and religious institutions should make their own decisions as to whether or not they want to marry two individuals. Forcing them to adhere to a universal set of ideal somewhat defeats the point of different sects of religion.

That said, anyone who feels that gay marriage is wrong or disgusting really just needs to get a biology text book and realize that all gays are normal people whose hypothalamuses (hypothalami?) are wired differently. It's not a big deal, it's just a couple of wires crossed in key locations.

Presenting unproven allegations as "fact" does not fall under anyone's right to free speech.

Oh... religious speech isn't free and protected speech? It's still unproven and presented as fact.

Unproven claims are presented on television all the time... we call it the "news"..
