Ew. I would not touch that if they paid me.

That's more than just "long, lithe bodies and small bones," that's over the top.

Woman gotta eat some meat.

I saw some earlier pictures of her where her weight was appropriate. She looked fabulous then. She looks like Karen Carpenter now.

I just don't get the whole skeleton for models idea.

When I see an item of clothing on a skeleton, it makes me NOT want to wear it. Bring back the Glamazon era! I think those women were much more beautiful.

Sydney model Stephanie Naumoska, 19, was one of 32 contestants from more than 7,000 hopefuls to make the glittering final at an event promoting "healthy, proportioned, bodies."
well, that just means that's how we all should be, isn't it? they don't vote up unhealthy women in a health-promoting event.

i needed a reason to kick this unhealthy habit of eating.

I swear I have seen her skinny picture somewhere before...I digress. I am guessing most men would rather have a woman with actual curves on her body, and full rosy cheeks. Unless your into the whole skin, bones, and sunken eyes thing.

Edit to say: Marilyn Monroe. A total sex goddess. And not a size 0!

As a friend of mine's grandfather once said: "Don't ever go to bed with a skinny girl. It's like rasslin' a bag a' antlers."

This is a perfect example of how sick our world is. Who are judges that chose this woman? People whose elbows and knees are the widest parts of their limbs are sick and probably should be hospitalized.

This comment thread made me feel sick to my stomach.

How many commenters have now mentioned that men wouldn't want to have sex with her in her current condition? Why are we valuing this young lady based on who does or doesn't want to f*ck a stick? We just presume right off the bat that she's thin because she wants men to think she looks beautiful. Firstly, the pursuit of men is not the only force guiding a woman's life, and if it where, the whole "look a certain way or no one will want to sleep with you" attitude is where young women's body problems would stem from in the first place.

Men will always find women of all sizes attractive: that's the way the human race works. No one should be made to feel insecure about their body shape unless it's putting them in danger. And if her health is under threat from an eating disorder, calling her a freaking "sack of antlers" is not going to help.

As for "eat a cheeseburger," can we drop this please? If she's naturally thin, which a lot of women are, it's just another way of putting women down based on their body shape. If she's anorexic or suffers from another eating disorder, then that is a mental illness, which is as real and frightening as any other life-threatening disorder. I don't see why it's funny or how anyone is helping by making comments about this woman's attractiveness.

If you clicked Suebe's link, you'd see she's not naturally that thin. Her body fat index was even commented as being dangerously low.

Body fat index can be low for a number of reasons that aren't related to anorexia. And I think my comment kind of stands anyway, really.

Nonetheless, women that thin shouldn't be the role model type. Protruding ribs isn't sexy. Girls have enough body issues without thinking looking like you just survived the holocaust is a good thing.
