Banana slug oddness versus not mutilating my young son for a fairy tale... No contest there!

I can't figure out where I stand on this issue (NPI). I was cut, as a kid (not for religion—my father was uncut until his '50s, when he elected to have it done), in an environment where most boys were circumcized, as well.

So on the one hand, I don't remember any trauma from the procedure, didn't have people pointing and laughing in the locker room (at least about that), (that and my junk gets funky enough on a hot day for two.)

On the other hand, I can totally understand the viewpoint that it's unnecessary, and kind of brutish.

But I don't buy into any idea that circumcision scars a baby for life, any more than cutting the umbilical cord, getting rejected by your first love (or having to pay your first taxes as a Sole Proprieter) does, even though the cord will rot off naturally, unlike a prepuce.

Maybe it's because it's always been this way, but I'm happy with it, as anyone should be, no matter what part of their body has been removed—arms, breasts, or legs.

As an "uncut" person I prefer the term Man-Sheath....

But seriously, this is kind of a non issue IMO, I mean I personally can testify that hygiene isn't a problem if you actually take showers.
